TAKE THE BUSYNESS OUT OF SMALL BUSINESS
The Texas Hill Country, centered in the heart of Texas, boasts some of the most beautiful natural terrain and vistas around. It spans a vast area from North of San Antonio, west of Austin up to Central Texas and is an easy sixty-mile drive from either of these cities. It is known as the conversion of where the Southeast meets the Southwest. Driving throughout the hill country, one sees how unique each town can be. The influence of the German immigrants who settled the area in the 1800s can be seen in the architecture, culturally diverse food and drinks served at the local restaurants, clothing styles found on Main Street’s shops, and regional art in galleries from New Braunfels and Boerne, to Fredricksburg and all the little towns in between. Each town has a small town feel, and locals come to town squares, each centered around a historical courthouse, for farmers’ markets, festivals, concerts, parades, and events. This area has made a name for itself as the center of the Texas wine industry and boasts over 100 wineries to date with more on the way. Lots of people believe the Hill Country is not about land and boundary definitions, but rather reflects the type of people who live here, their spirit, and their approach to life. So, whether you are picking wildflowers on a country road, eating peaches from a market stand, sipping many varietals of wine, or listening to music and kicking up your heels at a dance hall, the twosteppin’ Texans will welcome you with open arms, an ice-cold beer, or Texas wine, and a friendly smile.
