Housed on our beautiful Civic Center campus, Scottsdale Arts comprises Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts, Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art, Scottsdale Public Art and Scottsdale Arts Education & Outreach, as well as our two seasonal marquee events – Canal Convergence in November at the Scottsdale Waterfront, and Scottsdale Arts Festival in March on the Civic Center Mall. A new organization-wide web presence will launch in 2019, with improved online ticketing and messaging services. A new venue gateway to improve the audience experience is on the horizon, as is a re-imagining of our Stage 2 theater space. We’ll be announcing add-on shows in various popular genres from Americana to blues, bluegrass to singer-songwriters – stay tuned for more excitement and surprises throughout the season. Violins of Hope Violins of Hope is a collection of violins played by Jewish musicians during the Holocaust. Israeli violinmaker Amnon Weinstein restored these instruments over the past 20 years, and through his devotion, these presentations pay tribute to those lost, illustrate the strength of the human spirit and teach the importance of recognizing and accepting people of all cultures, nationalities and religions.
