The Enchanted Pig embraces a range of musical styles. The roles of Flora and Pig were conceived for opera singers. Old Woman and Hildebrand move between operetta, vaudeville and musical comedy. Mab, Dot, Sun and Moon are intended to be music-theatre performers – actors who are particularly good at singing.
