“Charge into Fire Safety”
Stay safe with lithium-ion batteries: Buy safely Charge safely Recycle properly
As we step into October, I want to thank each of you for continuing to represent this department with professionalism and pride. Fall brings a shift in weather, community activity, and operational demands and as always, you rise to meet them
This month is especially important as we launch Fire Prevention Week with the national theme “Charge into Fire Safety™: Lithium-Ion Batteries in Your Home” It’s a great opportunity to connect with the public and reinforce life-saving safety messages Whether you're out installing smoke alarms, participating in school events, or simply having conversations in the community your presence makes a difference.
Let’s also stay focused on operational readiness as we enter the cooler months Continue to train hard, support each other, and take pride in the work you do. Your efforts are seen, valued, and appreciated
