On Monday, February 2, 2026, representatives from the Fayetteville Firehouse Subs and the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation visited the department to present the Fayetteville Fire Department with a check for nearly $40,000 to support the purchase of life saving rescue equipment. The new equipment will be placed on the department’s Rescue 92, which was added to the fleet in 2025

We are incredibly grateful for the continued support from Firehouse Subs and their Foundation Their generosity helps ensure our crews have the tools they need to respond effectively and safely when our community needs us most

As you set your clocks forward for daylight saving time, take a few minutes to complete important home safety checks The Fayetteville Fire Department encourages residents to test smoke alarms, inspect cords and outlets, and clean dryer vents to help reduce common fire hazards
AAs we move into the spring season, I want to thank each of you for the dedication you continue to bring to this department The professionalism and teamwork shown across every shift truly reflect the strength of the Fayetteville Fire Department
March brings new training opportunities and continued community engagement I encourage everyone to stay focused on readiness, training, and supporting one another.
I’m proud of the work being done across the department and grateful to serve alongside such a dedicated team
Stay safe and take care of each other
