Cell Structure Structure

Function

Contains the genetic information that controls the Nucleus functions of the cell. Cell Membrane Controls what enters & leaves the cell. Where many cell activities & reactions happen. Cytoplasm Mitochondria Provides energy from aerobic respiration. Make proteins- site of protein synthesis. Ribosomes Where photosynthesis occurs. Chloroplast Use to store water & other chemicals as cell sap. Vacuole Strengthens & supports the cell (made of cellulose Cell Wall in plants) A loop of DNA NOT in a nucleus. DNA Loop A small circle of DNA, may contain genes associated Plasmid with antibiotic resistance.
