Where does our food come from? Which animals hibernate/migrate? Why do animals forage for food during winter? What do animals do at night-time around the world? Why do hedgehogs have spikes?
Why is there a night time/day time? What happens when the sun goes down? Why do we have rainbows? How can we measure how hot/cold something is? How can we predict the weather? Choosing 4 countries from around the world – some with climate change issues. Comparing them to our country first-
Where do we live? What is in space? Where do stars come from? Why can’t you see fireworks at night? Why are astronauts important? Link to taking care of our planet. Planets within the solar system.
What will happen if I plant this seed? What do plants need to grow? Can you name the parts of a lifecycle or specific minibeast? What happens to the plant/food stuffs over time? To know that a minibeast is a small creature which has no backbone. To know that plants grow from seeds or bulbs. To understand what is essential for plants and minibeasts to grow.
What is baby animal? Which animals do we have as pets? How do we take care of animals? Are all elephants the same?
