HAPPY NEW YEAR, WELCOME BACK JANUARY 2022

Firstly, a warm welcome to the first Stamford Park Trust newsletter showcasing some of the fantastic achievements, developments and news stories from our Trust. This publication attempts to capture our vibrant community through a snapshot of the wonderful work taking place in each of our schools and colleges. Longdendale and Rayner Stephens High Schools joined Ashton Sixth Form College just over a year ago as part of Stamford Park Trust, a Multi- Academy Trust established by the college in February 2019. In this short period of time, we have clearly demonstrated how a collaborative approach to education can have a significant benefit to all who work or study across the Trust. The information contained in this publication is testament to that aim; we are stronger together. Much has happened since January 2021. We have made key appointments to the Trust team, developed a laser-like focus on developing the quality of teaching and learning across the Trust, improved behaviour and attitudes to learning, and begun to develop the Trust estate through the building and refurbishment of our facilities. The new laboratories at Rayner Stephens are a start to this programme and evidence of our commitment to the students attending our schools and colleges. We hope that you have seen positive changes across the Trust over the last twelve months. Engaging with parents, carers and students is important to us and we welcome feedback at any time. By working together, we will forge a brighter future for our communities. Thank you for your support; I hope you enjoy reading about some of the many outstanding achievements realised across the Trust during this academic year. Warm regards, Anton McGrath CEO of Stamford Park Trust
