“Sharing and being considerate… Safe in the arms of Christ.”
Little Wills Nursery is a joyful and nurturing part of St. William’s Catholic Primary School, where our mission shapes everything we do. We believe that even our youngest children should experience a setting built on love, kindness, and encouragement — a place where they feel safe in the arms of Christ as they take their first steps in education.
Our nursery is a warm, vibrant space where children learn to share and be considerate, work together as a team, and develop confidence through exploration and play. Every day, we aim to foster curiosity, independence and resilience — helping children to aim high and do their best, all within a caring family environment where many smiles are shared.

We welcome children from 3 years old, offering flexible provision to meet the needs of families.

At Little Wills Nursery, children are at the centre of everything we do. Our environment is designed so children can:
✔ Explore freely and learn through listening, playing and talking
✔ Grow in confidence as they develop independence
✔ Experience a rich range of activities linked to their interests
✔ Build friendships rooted in loving and forgiving one another
Our indoor and outdoor areas are thoughtfully resourced to encourage imagination, problem‑solving and creativity. Whether children are role‑playing, building, creating, reading or discovering nature, we nurture their curiosity every step of the way.

Our curriculum follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) but is uniquely shaped by the mission and values of St. William’s.
We encourage children to:
✔ Share and be considerate
✔ Work hard and take pride in their achievements
✔ Inspire others through kindness, enthusiasm and joy
✔ Listen and learn from the world around them
✔ Develop a positive sense of self and others
✔ Enjoy early reading, number, creative arts and outdoor learning
Every learning experience — from small interactions to big discoveries — is rooted in our mission to help children flourish in a caring family environment.
As a Catholic school nursery, everything we do is grounded in gospel values. We teach our children, in simple and meaningful ways, what it means to live like Jesus — to show kindness, fairness, forgiveness and love.
Children encounter prayer, stillness and reflection as part of daily routines, always in age‑appropriate and uplifting ways. All families are warmly welcomed, regardless of faith background.

Our dedicated early years team is passionate about supporting young children as they grow. They work closely with families, building trusting relationships and ensuring every child feels valued and understood.
Together, we help each child develop the confidence to “aim high and do their best” knowing they are cherished and supported.
