• The school has a very good relationship with parents/carers – effective and variety of ways of communicating • Governors, Management staff treat each other with mutual respect and look to support one another in all aspects of school life • Home/School agreement – Staff, parents, children all agree to fulfil their responsibilities. Clear expectations of behaviour of allOzzie’s way • All members of school community have responsibilities. • Atmosphere created for honesty through teaching, praise, highlighting examples of honest behaviour throughout school • Code of conduct – respect for all – Ozzie’s Way, Ozzie’s Champions, Top Table award. • Good communication with school/parents/children – spirit of openness, parent interviews, interims, prompt liaison when needed, EYFS blog and newsletter. Staged approach from Key Stage leads. X (formerly Twitter), Seesaw, Parent texts/emails, • Children given responsibilities throughout school, pupil voice, school/Eco councils, prefects, Well-being Warriors, class monitors, Reading Champions, Sports Council, self-assessment – responsibility for own learning • Children encouraged to be honest about thoughts and feelings via questionnaires, EYFS – happy/sad tree
