Dear Parent Carers, Weekly Update: 26/05/23 I hope this update finds you well. Today, students and staff finish for a well-deserved half term break. Over the past couple of weeks, our GCSE and A Level students have done us proud with their hard work during their exams. We recognise that this can be a cause of stress and anxiety for most people, but our students’ calm and considered approach has been remarkable. Well done to our students and thanks goes to the staff and families who give support in the background. Goodbyes Today we say goodbye and thank you to two members of our team – Tom Stopford and Marie Ferris. Tom has been at St Martins since March 2020, firstly as a Teaching Assistant and then as a Learning Mentor. Tom has made a big impact at St Martins and has a fantastic approach with our students. Marie has been with us since September 2022, working as a Teaching Assistant in Key Stage 4. Whilst Marie has only been with us a short time, we will miss her wonderful way with the students. We wish Tom and Marie the best for their future endeavours. Communication Arrangements I wanted to update you on arrangements for communication with school out of hours and during the holidays. School opening hours are between the times of 8:30am and 3:00pm, and during this time, staff are on hand to help with any concerns you may have.
