23rd January 2026 Dear Parent Carers, Weekly Update: 23/01/26 I hope this update finds you well. The main focus of this week’s update is the positive outcomes for students working with the Wellbeing Team. As you know, the strength of the Wellbeing Team is one of the highlights of our outstanding school, and the ‘shout-outs’ below reflect the progress that our students make. For us, progress isn’t necessarily about grades, it’s about the personal development of our young people on their journey to Shaping Successful Futures. I hope you enjoy reading this update! Wellbeing Team Update It has been a busy and positive start to the year for our Wellbeing Team, who continue to support an increasing number of students across the school and Horizons. We are incredibly proud of the progress many students are making and would like to take this opportunity to share a few highlights and celebrate some fantastic achievements. Student and Session Shout-Outs ➢ Hayley Rice would like to celebrate Dylan P (Year 11) for his improved use of strategies, seeking out trusted adults, allowing co-regulation, and developing a more positive mindset. A fantastic achievement – well done, Dylan! ➢ Laura would like to celebrate the strong engagement with sensory circuits across the school, with three classes supported. Students have shown excellent participation and improved regulation. ➢ Lyndsey would like to celebrate Ruby for her creativity in designing pictures using AI, as well as her improved social skills when working within her class group. ➢ Shelli would like to celebrate Anthony P, who is now confidently interacting with classmates and has even set up and run his own Talking Tom Club.
