Safeguarding and Family Support At St Martins we work together to create and maintain a safe, supportive environment, protecting the rights and needs of children at all times. We have a responsibility to help identify signs of young people in need of additional support or protection and work with families to refer to additional agencies if and when required. Our aim is to ensure that all of our students are safe, happy, confident and secure. Our Designated Safeguarding Lead, Jessica Longhurst, has overarching responsibilities regarding safeguarding in school. We also have Deputy Safeguarding Leads across all of our sites at St Martins, Horizons and Project Search to support our students. If you have any concerns or questions, please do not hesitate to contact the office on 01332 571151, and ask to speak to a member of the Safeguarding Team. Alternatively, please email stmartins-safeguarding@shaw-education.org.uk and a member of the team will get back to you.
