19th May 2023 Dear Parent Carers, Weekly Update 19/05/23 I hope this update finds you well. This week we held an Options Evening for students in Year 9 and Year 10 to decide which subjects they will study next year. The students who attended were well prepared and clued-up as they made their way around the various stands with their Parent Carers. It was great to hear conversations with families who were talking about Options with each other and the staff team about what is right for their young person. Making informed decisions about the future is critical, and we are delighted to be part of this journey with you. Talking of the future… our Careers Lead, Joe Johnson and Transitions Learning Mentor, Ryan Gascoine, have put together a Futures newsletter which they are going to produce every half term. Their newsletter aims to highlight successes, as well as provide skills and knowledge to prepare students for being part of the community and adult life. I hope you enjoy reading it.
