13th December 2024 Dear Parent Carers, Weekly Update: 13/12/24 We hope this update finds you well. Judging for Christmas Doors took place today, and we look forward to sharing the winner with you next week. There was quite the competition with students and staff showing off their amazing creativity! There is a week of the Autumn Term left, and there are many things to look forward to next week – the Christmas Market on Tuesday, Christmas Dinner on Wednesday and the Winter Wondershow on Thursday. We hope to see Parent Carers at the Market or Wondershow next week. We are still working hard in school to try to maintain routines where possible, as most students respond positively to these. If you require any support with creating routines at home, please feel free to speak with a member of the Family Support Team. Next week’s update will have a focus on supporting your young person at home this Christmas. Martin’s Update Martin, our school dog, has recently completed his Bronze Award which means that he is now officially a Canine Assisted Learning Affiliate School Dog. Martin makes a wonderful impact on our school community through his work with students, as well as to the staff team! Martin’s team of handlers worked hard with him to secure this award, and look forward to taking his training further with the Silver Award.
