7th March 2025 Dear Parent Carers, Weekly Update: 07/03/25 I hope this update finds you well. It has been great to have a few warmer and brighter days this week, after the long winter. KS3JG and KS3SPS kicked off residential season with a visit to Mount Cook in Cromford on Monday and Tuesday this week. The classes are looking forward to sharing what they’ve been up to on our social media soon! Arbor Parent App and Evidence for Learning (EFL) Family App Thank you for engaging with the survey that we sent out earlier this week regarding the Arbor Parent App. We appreciate your feedback, and look forward to making sure this App is purposeful for all. Some of the feedback from the survey indicated that there are some queries regarding the purposes of the Arbor Parent and EFL Family Apps, so we have put these short overviews together. Arbor Parent App and Portal The Arbor App has been launched to support communication with school, allowing Parent Carers to view attendance and update personal information for their young person. In the future, Arbor will also be used for things such as Payments (instead of ParentPay), and booking Parent Carer Evening Appointments. Evidence for Learning (EFL) Family App The EFL Family App provides a platform to view snapshots of your young person’s time in school, sharing both their academic and holistic progress against their EHCP targets. Through EFL, Parent Carers are also able to share learning and personal development moments from home.
