Jewellery & Make-up
Jewellery is not permitted other than a wristwatch.
Uniform, Appearance and Equipment
Hair:
• Naturally occurring shade.
• No shaven heads (No shorter than number 2 sides & back)
• No lines cut into the hair or extreme fashion styles.
• Plain black hair bands/slides only.
• Pupils must keep themselves clean shaven.
Shirt:
• White, traditional style, good quality with stiff collar.
• Tucked in to waistbands at all times.
• Top button fastened.
Tie:
• School crested clip-on tie. Years 7, 8 & 9 Maroon. Years 10 & 11 Black.
Blazer:
• Maroon badged blazer, school crested.
Make up is not permitted at all in Y7-10. Discreet use in Y11. Fake tan, nail varnish, false nails, cosmetic eyebrows, eyebrow cuts, false eyelashes, mascara tint etc. are not permitted for all year groups.
Tattoo’s are not permitted.

Jumper:
• Strongly recommended, school crested.
• Year 7–9 Maroon ‘V’ neck. Year 10 & 11 Black ‘V’ neck.
Skirt:
• Regulation badged skirt.
• Skirts no more than 3 inches from the knee (waistbands must not be rolled over).
Socks/Tights:
• With trousers - plain black socks.
• With skirts - black opaque tights (min 40 denier).White ankle or knee length socks are permitted in summer term.
• Over the knee socks or trainer socks are not permitted.
Trousers:
• Regulation badged trousers
• Belts - black with a discreet buckle.
Footwear:
• Black, traditional style. No boots, trainers or ‘trainer style’, pump, suede or canvas style. No logos/colour flashes. Brands such as Vans, Converse and such like are not permitted.
• Black laces if lace-ups. Heels no higher than 3”.
• Images of suitable footwear are on the school website.
Outdoor clothing:
• Coat - Plain black with no exterior marking or logo (except for reflectors)
• Scarves - Plain black (no football scarves or hats.
A plain white catering apron will also be required.
