PROSPERE NEWS COMMUNITY NEWSLETTER
HALF TERM 2
2022 - 2023
Dear members of our Trust community, We are coming to the end of another year of excellent achievement for the Trust. As expected, this year has brought many challenges but it has seen far more successes. It has been a year of positive outcomes for our pupils, but this would not be possible without the effort our staff all put in on a daily basis and the connection we have with our families and school communities. Their work in supporting our pupils to be the best they can be really transforms lives. We all have a common goal – wanting the very best for the children and young people that we educate. This year, more than ever, has seen staff working across the Trust to improve not only their own school but also the wider Trust. By sharing skills and knowledge, and demonstrating professional generosity, we are increasingly able to increase capacity, skills and knowledge across all our schools to the benefit of all our children. As the year draws to a close, it is more evident than ever that we are stronger when we work together. Enjoy the holiday and have an excellent break. See you in 2023! A FESTIVE FEAST A huge thank you to our catering team who in addition to breakfast, break time service and hospitality requests, will be serving 7000 Christmas dinners to students and staff across the Trust! Over 600 kilos of sprouts, a sea of gravy and bag fulls of festive cheer will be served over three days in the last week of term.
CHARITY FAYRE Always caring for others, the wonderful admin team at Chorlton High School made a special effort at this busy time of year to support a charity that provides care and support for people living with cancer and their families, in memory of family and keeping a much loved colleague who recently lost a loved one in our thoughts. The team held a mini Christmas Fayre including a bake sale, raffle and series of games such as guess the weight of the cake. The team proudly raised over £1000 for Maggie’s Cancer Care Charity and have been invited to the centre to present the donation.
