How to book a COVID-19 vaccination if your child couldn’t have their vaccination at school for any reason. If your child was not able to get the COVID-19 vaccination when the NHS vaccination team visited the school, or you have since decided to get a vaccination, there are plenty of options for booking a vaccination out of school quickly and conveniently.
Booking the vaccination out of school is easy There are multiple venues now offering the vaccination for 12-15 year olds which include the mass-vaccination centre at the Etihad Campus in Manchester as well as local vaccination sites and community pharmacies in convenient locations around the city. Eligibility for the vaccine Please remember there are clear eligibility criteria which may prevent your child having the vaccination at this time: • •
12-15 year olds need to wait a clear 12 weeks after they had their 1st dose before they can have their second dose If a 12-15 year old has recently tested positive for COVID-19, they need to wait 12 weeks from the positive test date before they can have the vaccine (first or second dose).
