Value of the half term: Park Road Sports Day Weather permitting, it will be our Sports Day on Monday 17 July. We will notify you by Seesaw if we have to cancel Sports Day due to the weather (if it is cancelled, we will let you know as soon as the decision is made so if you don’t hear from us, it is still taking place). It is important that you keep an eye on Seesaw messages as each year we receive lots of calls asking for information that we don’t have so please DO NOT ring school in the morning to ask for an update. Don’t forget to arrange to pass on the information to anyone who does not have access to Seesaw. If it is cancelled, Sports Day will be rescheduled for Wednesday with the same timings.

The KS1 gate will be opened at the end of the event to allow any parents who do not need to stay for the KS2 event to leave.
Please could we ask that parents/carers stay in the designated area and do not distract their children as they will be under the supervision of the teachers and there are a lot of races to get through. It will be a traditional Sports Day with sprints, egg and spoon race, skipping and long distance running.
