Illness Reporting If your child is unwell and has any of the Coronavirus symptoms (temperature, cough or loss of sense of smell), please ensure your child has a PCR test and report the results to school before they return (an LFT test is not sufficient).

Even if you feel the symptoms may be caused by another illness (eg sickness, ear or throat infection), it is important that a PCR test is carried out. Please remember that, following the advice of Public Health England, we ask that children are kept off school for 48 hours after the last instance of sickness/diarrhoea. We ask this for two reasons: firstly, it will prevent the spread of the illness throughout the local community and secondly, to allow your child time to fully get back on their feet. We do understand that children want to return to school and don’t want to miss out but it can set them back, particularly if they are not yet eating properly or returned to full health. We appreciate your help in reducing the spread of these viruses and please remember to contact the school office to notify of absences (not the teachers).

Changing Pick Up Arrangements If a new person will be picking up your child from school, please send a Seesaw message to the teacher to let them know (you are also able to message the school office via Seesaw). If you have arranged for someone to pick up your child who is already on your pick up list, it isn’t necessary to inform us. Bookbags If you would like to purchase a bookbag, the available stock is shown on Parentpay and more bags will be ordered later this term. If you would like a different colour or style, please contact Touchline (full details on our website https://www.parkroad.warrington.sch.uk/parent s/school-uniform). Dinners and Snacks Please remember to keep your Parentpay accounts topped up if your child has snacks or if your child is in KS2 and has a meal from the school kitchen. Meals and snacks should be paid for when they are taken—school cannot afford to offer credit. If you do forget to top up, we will send you a reminder through Seesaw. If you do receive a reminder, please do top up straight away or reply to let us know if there are any problems. Thank you.
