Honesty
The PFA We wanted to acknowledge the work and time given by the PFA in supporting our school and children as well as the amazing community events they arrange.
and where to spend the money. There are clear guidelines in their constitution on where they can spend their funds so not all suggestions will be actionable or valid.
They have supported us in developing our digital provision in school by funding Ipads, enhancing our EYFS provision, providing exciting events for the children such as visits from Father Christmas and his reindeer, theatre visits, items during the pandemic such as the online magic show and the cuddly wellbeing bears.
Thank you to the PFA, particularly Kelly and Jade, for giving your precious time and energy to improving the lives of our children, we think you are wonderful! If you would like to know more or get involved with fundraising, make suggestions or register to be a volunteer willing to be contacted if help is needed, please read their page on this update for the details on how to do this.
The members in the PFA have waned over the past few years and so events have largely been organised by Kelly H and Jade W, mums of children in our school, who find time to give to school despite both working. They research new ideas for fundraising, they look for new ideas to enhance the children’s lives in school as well as keeping the school community informed through their page in the Weekly Update.
Personal Possessions Please remember that children should not bring any personal possessions (including toys, electronic devices, card collections, jewellery etc) into school unless requested to do so for a class/school activity. The reason for this is not only the possibility of items being lost, broken or borrowed, but it can also cause friction or upset.
Thank you for your support on this matter. They welcome feedback and, as mentioned regularly on their page, they are happy to receive suggestions and additional ideas for both fundraising
