Value of the half term: Dress to Express Day Friday 10 February Next week is Children’s Mental Health Week from 6 to 12 February 2023. Park Road will be taking part to shine a spotlight on the importance of children and young people’s mental health, helping to ensure that every child has easy access to mental health support whenever they may need it. On Friday 10 February, we will be hosting a ‘Dress to Express’ day where we will encourage pupils to use clothing and colour to express themselves. This could be dressing as your superhero or simply wearing your favourite outfit – anything to that makes you smile and reflects your personality. Please remember that outfits should be appropriate for the school day.

World Book Day Celebration - Day Change Our World Book Day celebrations this year will be held on Friday 3 March as we have a MAT event taking place on the Thursday. We wanted to give you as much notice as possible as this year, we would like children to come to school dressed as a character from their favourite book and for them to bring their book to school with them on the day. Please do make sure that their book is named so that it doesn’t get lost. Please remember that costumes don’t have to be expensive or elaborate and if you would like any help with ideas, please let a member of staff know.
