 Meet the Teacher

Value of the half term: Meet the Teacher Wednesday 21 September Our ‘Meet the teacher’ sessions will be held on Wednesday 21 September so that you will have the opportunity to come along to meet your child’s new teacher and ‘put a face to a name’ and to find out about the learning expectations of the year and the curriculum. We will run two sessions for each class across the evening and will stagger these so that all classes have a later and an earlier session to try to give everybody the opportunity to attend. These information sessions will last approximately 15-20 minutes and timings are shown in the table below. Year group Reception

Seesaw - Important, Please Read Seesaw is an amazing communication tool that allows families to see a snapshot of their child’s day as well as being able to stay in touch with their teacher. Please respect that during school hours, the teachers are busy teaching the children and will not be able to answer messages during this time. If you do send a message to a teacher, they will reply as soon as they are able to after the end of the day (this may not be immediately as school closes as they have many more tasks still to complete). We understand that for some parents the evenings may be the best time to message teachers, ie once you have finished work and the children are in bed etc, but please can we ask that you respect the work-life balance of staff and understand that any query or request may not be responded to, unless urgent, until the following day . Please be assured if we have any concerns about your child during the day, we will contact you. PE Kits for All Years on Wednesday 21 September On Wednesday 21 September, we have a sporting World Champion visiting our school and we will be having an active day so please send all children in their PE kits on that day. Thank you.
