Value of the half term: Important - Please Read Please be aware that bikes and scooters should not be ridden on school premises (including the approach to the school building/gates, across the car park and playgrounds). School becomes very busy at drop off and pick up and we want to ensure the safety of our whole community. It is particularly important because we have a child with visual impairment in our school, who can’t see the bikes/scooters approaching and it could lead to an accident or increased anxiety for this child. Please could all children (no matter what age) and adults dismount from bikes or scooters and push them until they are off school premises again. Please remember that the school car park is for vehicular access only and pedestrians should use the public footpath to access the pedestrian gates near to the KS1 and KS2 gate entrances. Finally, please could we ask that younger children are supervised on the playground and that they do not chase the chickens, as it does scare them and we encourage the children to be kind to animals. Thank you.
