Parents’ Evening

Message from Michelle Kilmurray, Governors I wanted to ask for your help to build on the schools commitment to wellbeing. All of the governors are really proud of school's achievement in gaining the Wellbeing award. However, we have to continue to plan and move forward to make sure we are being the best we possibly can. I am passionate about this and I take a lead role in this on the school Governing Body because I am a registered NHS clinical psychologist with a lot of experience in mental health and wellbeing. Also, as some of you may have heard, school is about to launch an exciting, innovative programme called My Happy Mind. I have reviewed this and am really excited about the benefits to our children of this programme.

Honesty Parents Evening Procedures—Please Read You should now have received your time for the Parents’ Evenings on Monday 6 or Thursday 9 March. Please check your child’s book bag for the confirmation slips. For both evenings we ask that you enter the building through the door at the back of the hall nearest to the children’s kitchen. There will be signing in sheets as you come in and to avoid duplications, we ask that you sign in against your eldest child in school (even if you don’t have an appointment for that child on that day). You will need to confirm the number of people (including children) attending and the time in. Please remember to sign out so we know who is in the building in the event of a fire.

Red Nose Day In order to plan our next steps we really need, and School will be joining in with the Red Nose Day value, your feedback. At Parents’ Evening next week celebrations on Friday 17 March. Children can there will be questionnaires in the hall and we would come dressed in red or in a Comic Relief Red Nose be so grateful if you could spare a few minutes to fill t-shirt. Please remember that clothes should be them in. On the Thursday Parents’ Evening, I will be appropriate for a day in school (and for PE if it is due there in person if anyone would like to pass on any on that day). Donations should be made via feedback or has any questions about My Happy Parentpay link below (you don’t need a Parentpay Mind or anything else! account to donate and can donate from today) https://app.parentpay.com/ParentPayShop/Foc/Defa I look forward to seeing you there. ult.aspx?shopid=9970 .
