Value of the half term: Schools Games Mark The School Games Mark is a government led awards scheme launched in 2012 to reward schools for their commitment to the development of competition across their school and into the community. Participating in this process allows schools to evaluate their PE provision and assists them in developing an action plan for future progress. This year, we are delighted that although we applied for the Silver award, we were awarded Gold! Congratulations to everyone involved particularly Miss Mills, Mr Savage and the Sports Crew.

Forgiveness THANK YOU PFA We wanted to say a massive THANK YOU to the PFA for last week’s Summer Fair - it was a huge success, thanks to the PFA and particularly Kelly and Jade. The feedback from children, staff and our school community has been so positive with lots of talk of it being the best yet … how will you be able to top that next year? No Disney Stars or Bat and Ball Clubs Unfortunately, next week we will not be able to run our Disney Stars or Bat and Ball clubs. As you may be aware, Mr Savage has injured his foot and is on crutches. His mobility has slightly improved so he is able to run the KS2 clubs but does not have the dexterity for the EYFS/KS1 clubs. A refund will be issued for the Bat and Ball Club.
