Edition No 7 22/23 October 2022 5O and 5S had an amazing day at Stonehenge on Tuesday and were able to experience real-life artefacts and evidence of the eras they have been studying in their history lessons. The pupils thoroughly enjoyed being able to be so close to the landmark they have seen in photos and videos for many years and also experience details and information from the tour guides across the site. They were able to see some replica Neolithic houses and experience what life might have been like for the creators of Stonehenge as well as experience artefacts and remains from those who lived there. The pupil's favourite parts of the day (other than the gift shop) were the experiences of sketching the stones in the field and being able to experience what households might have been like at that time.
