After a lengthy and thorough process to explore, shortlist and then interview potential Multi Academy Trusts, the Board of Trustees (with the support of the Leadership Team) have reached a decision. They recommended the Wessex Learning Trust to our Members as the MAT we would like to begin the application process with and the Members have agreed with that recommendation. We look forward to the next stage of this process which will include opportunities for pupils, parents, staff and trustees to meet members of the Wessex Learning Trust. Thank you for the thoughts and questions you shared to support the interview process.
Following the last very popular second hand uniform sale, staff at Oakfield are planning another sale in the near future. If you have any good quality items that you would like to donate, kindly drop them into Reception (unnamed). All proceeds will be donated to the Oakfield FRIENDS. Thank you again for your support.
Much as we appreciate it is a very popular current trend, we will no longer allow girls to wear white socks over black tights. If their feet are feeling cold, they are very welcome to wear additional black socks over their tights, to keep warm. If they are wearing non uniform branded (white/grey) socks with logos, they will be asked to remove them. Thank you for your support.
