Our pupils again were a credit to us today (Tuesday), conducting themselves positively throughout the day. It was the turn of the boy's hockey team to compete in the development day competition at Millfield School. The day provided the opportunity for teams to play multiple matches and to receive coaching and guidance throughout as well as the opportunity to practise penalty shout out skills. Oakfield played Holyrood, Chilton trinity, Selwood, Castle school, Danesfield and Westfield. Oakfield finished the day emphatically with a 4-0 win against Danesfield, leaving us with three wins, one draw and two losses overall. All players were excellent and showed great team spirit and determination. The team consisted of Freddie Hill, Noah Hewitt-Grainger, Isaac Henderson-Finch, George Wilkinson, Felix Gray, Archie Sandy, Sonny Coates, Artie Matthews, Gideon Timms, Toby Durston, Archie Pearce and Jacob Pountney! Special congratulations to Sonny C for being voted player of the match most times throughout the day. Mr Fowler
