English: In English this half-term, we shall be looking Greek Myths. Reading various short story versions, learning and the features and the language used within. With an aim to write our own Myth.
Year 5 Summer 2: ‘The Greeks’ Geography: We shall recap the world map, whilst introducing knew knowledge on the tropics of Capricorn and Cancer. The topic will primarily focus on the Amazon Rainforest. It’s type of Biome, layers of the rainforest, it’s ecosystem and how the rainforest has an affect on the rest of the world.
Science: This term we will be focusing and investigating animals and living things. We will be looking into different habitats, environmental changes and the different classifications of animals. As well as investigating how humans change as they get older.
