Place Value up to 100 Counting to 100 by making 10s, counting forwards and backwards within 100, introducing the 100 square, partitioning numbers, comparing and ordering numbers and one more, one less. Money Recognising and counting in coins. Time Before and after, time to the hour, time to the half an hour, writing and comparing time.
English: This half term our English will focus around the book ‘No-Bot the Robot'. We will have a go at writing our own story in a fantasy setting and write a recount of No-Bot’s adventures. We will also use our recount skills to write a recount.
Year 1 Half Term 6/Summer 2: ‘Robots’ PE: In PE this half term we have 2 sessions of PE, one on Monday, lead by Mrs Wilson and one on Friday with our PE coach. We will be continuing with our learning of fundamental skills.
Science: In Science, we will be looking at how fruits and vegetables grow. Understanding where certain fruits and vegetables grow and why.
