We can’t wait to see your work. Science Look around your house. What things can you find that are magnetic. Find a magnet and see what objects it can stick too. Write a list of them.
English Think about being a Roman Solider that has just arrived in England. What would they see? How would it be different from Ancient Rome? What would you show them? History Create a Roman timeline. Add dates, facts and draw any pictures to help show what happened.
Maths Research Roman Numerals. What are the Roman numerals for the numbers. 1, 5, 10, 100? Can you write any other numbers in Roman Numerals?
Maths Multiplication Practice times tables. Write them out to help you remember them (1x3=3, 2x3=6). See if you can find any multiplication songs to help you learn them. Spellings Practice spelling the common exception words. Choose 10 words and describe what they mean. Then use them in a sentence. Write the sentence in your best handwriting. Spanish In Spanish write as many animals as you can and what colours they are. See if Miss Jackson can work out what animal it is from the colours.
History Design your own Roman Shield. If you have cardboard and crafts things see if you can make your design into a shield.
Art Make a piece of art using objects that you can paint and use to print onto paper. E.g. leaves, sponges, potatoes or other vegetables.
Maths Invent a game that uses your times tables. Using your 3,4- and 10-times tables. You could use a dice or have lots of questions and answers cut up that you need to match up.
