We can’t wait to see your work. Science Go on a rock hunt. How many different types of rocks can you find? How do you know what types of rocks they are?
Maths Use the dates of birth in your house and add the first 3 numbers to the last 3 numbers for everybody. E.g. 29/11/82 would be 291 + 182 = 473
Geography Choose a country of the world and research it, draw the flag of the country and write facts about it.
English Write a poem about being kind. Think about how you would like people to be with you. You can use any structure of poem to write it.
Spellings Practice spelling the common exception words. Choose 10 words and describe what they mean. Then use them in a sentence. Write the sentence in your best handwriting.
Art Create a painting not using paint brushes. It can be a painting of anything you like. You could use your fingers, hands, toes or feet.
Geography On a map (Miss Jackson can give you one if you need it) label as many countries as you can.
Spanish Draw a Christmas scene and label things in it in Spanish. E.g Papά Noel (Father Christmas)
PSHE Make a poster about online safety to show why it is important to have passwords and how to be kind online.
English Think of a story about being kind at Christmas. What could you do to show kindness to others? Can you think of anything other than giving gifts?
Maths Invent a game that uses your times tables. Using your 2,5- and 10-times tables. You could use a dice or have lots of questions and answers cut up that you need to match up. Test the teacher Make you a quiz to test Miss Jackson with. See if she can get them all right!
