Using your map, film a weather forecast for the next few days explaining what the weather will be like in your area.
Character Profile Write a character profile for the main character in your book. Alternatively, you could dress up as your favourite book character and have someone interview you. Dragons Den Using creative resources of your choice, can you make a dragon? You could even write a description of your dragon to go with it! Keeping Ourselves Healthy Create a poster or an information video about the importance of brushing your teeth or washing your hands.
Postcard to a Friend Visit a new place or think about a place that you have already been. Draw a postcard of your place and pretend you are sending it to a friend (or you could actually send it!). What did you do while you were there? What was the best thing you did? What did you eat?
Answer the Question How does the weather change over the seasons?
Measuring Madness! Measure 10 objects in your house and compare them. Which is the longest? Which is the shortest? Can you put your objects in order?
Plant Collage Make a collage of a plant and label the different parts.
Spring Walk Go for a walk with your family and find evidence of Spring. You can either collect artefacts or take pictures of what you find!
Plant Diary Plant a seed or bean at home. Keep a diary of your plant’s growth and how it changes over time.
Historically Significant Individual Research and make a fact file about Samuel Pepys and what he did during the Great Fire of London
Children’s choice Have your own homework idea linked to our topic or what we have been learning about. Extra points for creativity.
