Research the Titanic and produce a fact file or presentation.
Imagine you are a newspaper reporter, write questions to ask someone that was on board the Titanic. Create a bar chart which show how many men, women and children were on board.
Create a timeline showing key events and what happened during the Titanic’s journey.
Design a lifejacket using materials that would help someone stay afloat and stay warm in the cold water.
Create your own Titanic crossword / word search / quiz to challenge your friends with.
Design a poster advertising the Titanic’s maiden voyage.
Research the price of tickets on the Titanic for first, second and third class. Work out how much it would cost your family to travel in each class section.
Design and create your own lifeboat. When complete, test it out. Place it in a tub of water and see if it floats, if it does, see how many marbles you can fit in and keep it afloat. (Think about what materials you will use)
Find out how many countries have links to the Titanic. Where it was built, set sail from, docked at, countries that have museums about the Titanic) Mark them on a map.
Make a model of the Titanic.
