Choose and complete at least 6 activities over the course of the half-term. Hand in through Seesaw or bring into school before the deadline. Each piece will be worth 1-10 house points. We expect you to complete each homework task with care. We expect you to complete each homework to the best of your ability. Good luck! We can’t wait to see your work.

Design a home for a fairy tale creature. Can you design a home for an ogre or a fairy, a prince or a princess? What would their house look like and what would they need? What are you good at doing at home? Take pictures of something you are good at. Do you help with the cleaning? Can you dance or play a sport?

Tell a story. Can you tell your grown up a story? You can make up your own or you can tell them one of the stories we have been looking at in school.

Write our sounds. How many of our phonics sounds can you remember? Can you write them down and tell your grown up what the sound is?

Tell a joke What jokes do you know that will make someone laugh

Make an obstacle course. Can you make an obstacle course at home? Can you move over and under things and show how to balance?

Make a book. Use your imagination and make your own book. It can be a story you have made up or one you already know.

Baking. Can you bake a cake or some biscuits? Make sure you weigh the ingredients so that they turn out yummy.

Looking outside. What is different about outside? Can you see any changes? How are the trees different? Is anything growing in your garden or at the park? Draw or make me a picture of what is changing outside.

Create a healthy meal. Can you create a meal of healthy foods? What do we need to help us grow up strong and healthy? You can draw it or even help your grown up to make a real healthy meal that you can enjoy. How tall is your family? Who is the tallest in your family? Who is the shortest? Can you draw a picture and label the people to show who is the tallest and who is the shortest? Make a video. I would love to see a video of what your favourite thing to do at home is.
