Choose and complete at least 6 activities over the course of the half-term. Hand in through Seesaw or bring into school. Each piece will be worth 1-10 house points. Make a fact-file or presentation on an important person from World War 1.
Write your own story about a soldier living in the trenches.
Research games that children played in the early 1900s. Teach your classmates how to play them.
Make your own deck of cards for a soldier at the front line.
Make a family tree, try and find out which of your ancestors were alive during 1914-1918.
Write a list of questions you would want to ask a soldier that served in WW1.
Go to a museum or local war memorial and record what you saw / recount your day.
Make your own “Banksy” art work.
Make a fact file / poster / leaflet about Charles Darwin.
