Make a timeline of significant events that have occurred within Leyland.
Research and produce a fact file for a famous person that has lived in Leyland.
Make a college of pictures of Leyland through the difference decades.
Write a letter to the local MP about what you would want to change / improve about Leyland. Design a poster aiming to attract people to come to Leyland. What is there to see, what makes the town special?
Write a list of different locations such as a library, a park, a dentist etc. Go on a hunt around town for these places.
Visit different places in Leyland and take plenty of pictures. Write a diary entry of the different places you went to. Research Northbrook Primary Academy, how has it changed over the years? Take a picnic to Worden park with friends or family.
