Libanus Wellbeing News Summer Term 2025 Baby News Mrs Richards Deputy Headteacher

We are thrilled to. announce the safe arrival of beautiful baby Polly. Mrs Pearce is doing well and we are all excited to welcome them back in the new school year, when Polly will become our Roots of Empathy baby 2025/2026

As the Summer Term comes to an end, I am so proud of what our school community have achieved together this year. Thank you to all of our pupils, staff, parents, governors and community for all of your continued support. A highlight of this term was the publication of our Estyn Inspection report which stated that, 'well-being is at the core of all that they do and is fundamental to their success.' The inspectors were impressed with the opportunities our pupils receive and the progress they make. I have had the pleasure of attending the PGL Liddington, Dolygaer and Llangrannog residential visits this term and to see the children's confidence, resilience and determination was a joy. Reception pupils also enjoyed a visit to Cefn Mably Farm, Year 1/2 visited Barry Island and Year 5/6 visited Llanelli Wetlands. Year 3 also attended a 3-week intensive swimming course and Year 4 participated in intensive cycling sessions. Yet again, we received many compliments about our children's excellent behaviour and 'have a go' attitude. They are true Libanusians! Thank you for a super year! Have a wonderful summer holiday!
