Seasons greetings to you all and a warm welcome to everyone who is proud to be part of the KGS community. I am still finding it hard to believe we have moved so quickly towards Christmas and the enjoyable chaos this brings. School looks just as good in winter as it does in summer once we have the Christmas trees in place. It was a pleasure to take part in the Christmas Fair, the Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols at St. Michael's Church and to watch our pupils, from the early years to Sixth Form, showcasing their talents in a range of Christmas performances. I wish you all a peaceful Christmas and do hope that you take time to enjoy the festive period with loved ones. It has been an extremely enriching term for pupils, parents and staff alike. The FKGS Christmas Fair was much anticipated by the young and slightly older at KGS; enabling us to enjoy some festive fun as a school community. Our Infant and Pre-School Christmas Production and Junior Christmas Concert were once again spectacular, with our pupils performing with such professionalism and panache. I have been incredibly proud of their determination to work hard and play hard, alongside rehearsing for these events, where they always appear to grow in confidence and stature. We receive such positive comments from the public too about our pupils' good manners, curiosity, resilience and positive approach whilst on day excursions and residentials. This term's residentials for J2 and J3 were enjoyed by all, and I know the J4s are eagerly anticipating their week's adventure in May. I do hope that you now enjoy some valuable time with those you cherish most in order to reflect on your child's endeavours this term, and their ongoing positive impact on KGS.
