Curriculum Entitlement At Godley Primary our curriculum is consciously designed to promote a desire, enthusiasm and engagement towards learning. The teaching of learning behaviours is explicit whilst intertwined across the whole curriculum and from an early age children learn to be independent and develop resilience. This ensures that children are equipped with the relevant skills to learn. Curriculum content is broad, rich and challenging. It is based around central themes and high quality key texts, exploiting children’s interests where possible and adapted to the needs of all learners. An emphasis is placed upon developing transferable knowledge and skills and opportunities are created for application. Our delivery of the curriculum provides rich experiences for all in stimulating and supportive learning environments which make learning memorable. Outcomes of our curriculum provision are highly literate, numerate, aspirational and well-rounded learners.
