What do we need to pack?

A suggested kit list will be provided.

• Rucksack/ case

• Day bag for activities

• Swimming costume/swim shorts or shorts

• 2 Towels – one for shower and one for activities

• 2 fleece/ jumpers

• Old trainers you don’t mind getting wet/ dirty

• Old trainers for wet activities

• Indoor shoes, flip flops etc

• 3 Plastic bags for wet clothing

• Waterproof coat and trousers (if possible)

• Underwear

• Socks

• Pyjamas

• Toiletries – toothbrush/ toothpaste/ shower gel/ deodorant

• Water bottle (named)

• Book

• Clothes for evening but not best

• Change of clothes to return home in

• Hats/ suncream

Overnight

The children will get themselves ready for bed and then return downstairs for a drink before going to their rooms. All rooms are decided by school based on friendship groups and behaviour.

Food

Meals are provided by Tower Wood until the children return back to school. They may be expected to make their own packed lunch each morning at breakfast time, ready for the day ahead.

Medical Information

- A letter will be sent out so you can make school aware of any medical information required. All such medicines will need to be clearly labelled with dosage and timings etc and brought into school no later than Monday 11th March!

- If your child uses an inhaler, we will take their school inhaler but ask that you also provide a second inhaler from home

- A first aid trained member of Eccleston staff will always be available throughout the day and night.

Timings

DEPARTURE

• Ensure children have taken travel sickness pills (if needed) prior to arriving at school

• Arrive at school in the morning on Monday 18th

• Bags to be left in the hall

• Children registered in class before departure – parents are welcome to wave us off!

COLLECTION

Coach arrives back at school on Wednesday (time to be given out nearer to the time)

Message will be sent out on X for updates on arrival.

Reminders

- Check you have packed what’s recommended on the kit list. You will need a rucksack/ case and day bag.

- Medical info into school by 11th March – labelled with dosage and times

- Please leave all electrical equipment at home – no mobile phones or headphones

- Snacks are allowed on the coach

- Keep an eye on twitter to see the fun!

- Your child can bring a maximum of £5 in a named envelop which needs to handed in to Mr Brindle on the morning of the trip.
