English: During this half term, our quality text will be ‘Madame Pamplemousse and her incredible Edibles’ by Rupert Kingfisher. We will be using the text to create narrative pieces of writing. Our grammar focus will be recapping the use of fronted adverbials, adverbs in sentences and writing dialogue. We will then look at composing our own poems based on the quality text. History: In our History lessons, we will be looking closely at the Anglo Saxons, where they came from and why. Children will learn about their settlements, laws and way of life. We will use primary and secondary sources and compare Anglo Saxon life with Roman life in Britain.
