Churchtown Chatter Imagine … Believe … Achieve… Newsletter 15 – 2022

Welcome Back! Hope you have had a lovely Christmas break, the children have come back excited with their Christmas news. We are now fully immersed into the learning of this half term. The curriculum overviews have been updated on each year group page to reflect what the children are learning about this half term. These were published before we broke up at Christmas but if you haven’t seen them please look on our website – www.churchtown.org.uk under the ‘Year Groups’ tab. Classes have also started on their new quality text, with Gerald the Giraffe reading the Year 1’s Quality Text ‘Giraffe’s Can’t Dance’ to each year 1 class on Monday! The admission process closes on Sunday, this weekend, for anyone wanting to apply for a reception place for September 2023. There is further information in this newsletter and a parent app reminder is being sent out to all families about this. The diary dates have been updated at the bottom of the newsletter, we will continue to add to these so please check them weekly. Have a lovely weekend! Mrs Payne
