Churchtown Chatter Imagine … Believe … Achieve… Newsletter 9 – 2022

At 11am today the whole school congregated on the school playground for our remembrance service. This was led by Major McEntee and Ian Anderson, a military veteran. The children had a two-minute silence as part of the service. Major McEntee commented on the outstanding behaviour and respectfulness of the children and thanked them for this. As headteacher, I was exceptionally proud of the children and have expressed this, in particular to our youngest children, both nursery and reception. Thank you to parents for their attendance at parents’ evening this week. Verbal feedback to staff on the evening was positive and the 400 returned questionnaires reflect this positivity. Where things have been raised we will be addressing these issues and communicating them with you. We look forward to seeing any families at the Remembrance Service on Sunday who will be in attendance. Our school will be laying a wreath at the Cenotaph. Have a good weekend!
