We have had a fantastic start to the half term! The children have settled back into school really well, concentrating on their work in class and showing excellent behaviour in and around school. Well done to all! Today in Buddy Assemblies, the dancers who performed at the Meols Cop dance festival showcased their dance to the whole school. Lots of staff stayed in to watch and celebrated their amazing achievements. The audience provided enthusiastic and informed comments about what they had seen. Next Thursday is World Book Day, please read about some of the plans, including a book inspired menu change, further down in the newsletter. It is not necessary to buy new costumes for the day, please reuse previous outfits or the children have the option of wearing pyjamas. Finally, a letter has been sent out to all parents/carers today via ParentApp regarding upcoming industrial action, again further information can be found in the newsletter. Have a lovely weekend – Mrs Payne!
