Newsletter – 22nd July 2022 Our News It has been so lovely to have had the entire year in school teaching face-to-face. Even though it has been another challenging year for pupils, parents and teachers the children have amazed us all once again with their resilience and positive attitude towards their learning. They have all achieved their full potential and more! We are so proud of every single one of them. Well done! The transition to Ducklings and the Year 1 classes has once again been a gradual, happy and successful one. The children enjoyed their transition days and loved getting a feel for what it will be like in their new classes in September. They also enjoyed working with their new class teachers to experience and create their class routines, rules and understand the expectations. The Ducklings teachers have enjoyed getting to know the Little Chicks a little more closely and they have been confident to chat to us and tell us all about themselves. We can’t wait to welcome you back in September for a fun year ahead.

WE HAVE FINISHED OUR FIRST YEAR AT SCHOOL!! Can you believe how quickly the time has flown? We have all made new friends, learned lots of new things and grown up in so many different ways. It has been lovely to share with you, your child’s achievements throughout the year at our parents’ meetings and to have had your welcomed support with their learning throughout the year too. We are all very proud of each and every one of them, as we know you are too. WE’RE MOVING ON! Today has been both a sad and happy one but we are all ready to move on to our next set of challenges. The Ducklings’ children to Year One and the Little Chicks’ children into our Ducklings classes and other settings. After having such a lovely year, it is sad for it all to end too! May we take this opportunity to thank you all for your continued support this year. Everything you do at home impacts on our progress in class, so your input has been most valuable! Before we sign off for the final time, please accept our heartfelt thanks for all of the generous messages, cards and gifts. We are blown away by your kindness…thank you! All the staff in the Ducklings and Little Chicks would like to wish you all a relaxing, hot (or at least warm and dry) holiday and we look forward to seeing you all in September safe and well! Good luck to any children from Little Chicks who may be moving on to a different school.
