Dear Parents/Carers, It’s been lovely to see all the children back in school happy and smiling this week for the final half-term of the school year! Dates for Your Diary There will be more information on all of the below over the course of the half-term but for now I am letting you know the following dates:

Bishop Martin’s Got Talent We will be holding a talent show for the children (Years 1-6) on Friday 24th July. This is going to be during the school day and each class will be holding auditions (semi-finals) over the course of next week. As it is the first time we are doing something like this since the Pandemic it will be just for pupils. I hope that future talent shows we hold we will invite parents to. I have set the limit of acts for each class to ONE act (Maximum TWO) to ensure we get to finish well in time for home time. ALL children who want to perform WILL get a chance to, in front of their class and teacher over the course of next week. However only one/two will go forwards to the final (in front of the whole school) and you child’s teacher will be the final judge in sending through their final acts. School Council will be the judges in the final. If you have any music/props etc. you would like your child to have for their audition just let the teacher know by Monday morning and we will have them ready for their semi-final audition! We will tweet out and put on the website lots of pictures of the event and EVERYONE who performs over the course of the two weeks will be presented with a certificate/award.any thanks for your ongoing support
