Headteacher Update Friday 3rd February 2023 Dear Parents/Carers, Swimming Gala Congratulations! A little over a week ago (on the 24th January) our amazing swimming team went to Wigan Life Centre to represent Bishop Martin at the Swimming Gala. We entered more races than we have been able to in many years, showing just how much swimming standards at the school have improved! They all swam brilliantly and represented the school like the superstars they are! The team was: Year 6: Sofia, Bonnie, Ethan, Charlie Year 5: Honey, Lewis, Jason F Year 4: Freya Academisation Consultation I wrote to all parents last week (the email sent last Friday, 27th January) informing you that we are now in the Formal Consultation period for our conversion to Academy status and joining LDST. The consultation ends on 24th February and if you would like a hard copy of the booklet sent out last week please contact the school office. Mrs Kwissa, the Chief Executive Officer of LDST and members of the LDST Team will be here in school next Wednesday (8th February) in the junior hall for parents to meet/chat/ask questions straight after school if you wish.
